Kohima, January 6 (DIPR): The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) in a notification informed that in pursuance of Section 166 of the R.P. Act of 1951, the power conferred on the State Government under Section 160 to Section 165 of the R.P. Act of 1951 is hereby delegated to all Deputy Commissioners & District Election Officers of Nagaland to act on behalf of the State Government for requisitioning of vehicles, premises etc. for the conduct of the upcoming General Election to Nagaland Legislative Assembly, 2018. Any vehicle, premises etc. belonging to private person or institution/organization shall be entitled for compensation under Section 161 of the R.P. Act of 1951.
