MON, JANUARY 3 (MExN): In an impactful collaboration, the Chenmoho Students Union and Assam Rifles Mon hosted the much-anticipated 'Change for the Better Tournament.' With a theme focused on defeating drugs and winning at life, this event promised a unique blend of sportsmanship, educational initiatives, and cultural celebrations.
As the community came together, athletes, both women and men, geared up for intense competitions in volleyball and athletics. More than just a contest, these events emphasized promoting a healthy lifestyle within the community, a press release issued by the Assam Rifles stated.
Beyond the field, the tournament featured an insightful talk by experts, shedding light on the collective effort required to combat drug abuse, it stated adding that it was an opportunity for the community to learn and work together towards a brighter, drug-free future. The event had an attendance of nearly 500 people, the press release said.
