Mokokchung, October 28 (MExN): One day training for the chemist and druggist of Mokokchung District was held at the office of the CMO Conference hall on October 27, organised by Drug control Administration, office of the chief medical officer, Mokokchung.
DrTakosunepAo, Dy Chief medical officer in his keynote address welcomed the participants and highlighted the goals and objectives of the training, a press release said.
During the training the topics covered include ONDLS & NPPA, Combating antibiotics resistance through rational use of antibiotics, effective drug storage: safeguarding potency, safety and compliance and Pharmacist patients relation.
Additionally the drug control officer Tsunungrenla Jamir appraised the participants regarding the rational usage of cough syrups in pediatrics as per the guidelines issued by the Central as well as State Health services and departments.
The resource persons of the training were Tsunungrenlajamir, DCO,ImlisenlaKichu Pharmacist, PHC Longsa, Nungshijungla Jamir Pharmacist IMDH and JongtoAier District Pharmacy officer.
A total of 60 participants attended the training.
