Chess in School: Chess Coaching Camp commences at Ikishe

Kohima, May 9 (MExN): As part of “Chess in School” programme, a five day long Chess Coaching Camp under auspices of All India Chess Federation (AICF) commenced today at DMI St Joseph Global School, Ikishe village, Chumoukedima.

In Nagaland, Nagaland Chess Association (NCA) supervised this camp in collaboration with DMI St Joseph Global School.  

This initiative was taken under the program of AICF, which aims to include Chess in schools as a subject all over India in the near future.

Over 100 students registered for this camp and it will continue till May 13.

The coaches/trainers for this camp includes;  Mughaho Awomi, International Arbiter, National instructor and Chess Instructor YRS, Bovito Yeptho- AICF Chess trainer, Pikuto Chishi - AICF Chess Trainer  and Nipeto Hesso- National Arbiter, AICF Chess Trainer.
