Children’s science cong at Zbto today

Dimapur, October 20 (MExN): The Nagaland Institute of Health Environment & Social Welfare (NIHESW) Kohima as a part of the National Event is organizing the 19th State Level National Children’s Science Congress on October 21 at Town Hall, Zunheboto, at 10:00 am. CK Nihekhu, Secretary, Department of Science & Technology, Government of Nagaland has consented to grace the occasion as the chief guest.
A press note issued by NIHESW, KOHIMA State Co-ordinator, NCSC Santu Thapa informed that Child Scientist and teacher guides from the districts of the State will participate in the programme along with a host of children from schools around Zunheboto. Eight child scientists will be selected from the state level programme to represent the state to the National level 19th National Children’s Science Congress to be held at Jaipur National University, Rajasthan from December 27 to 30.This is a programme of NCSTC-DST, New-Delhi for children of 10-17 years of age organized nationally by NCSTC- network and co-ordinated in the state of Nagaland by the Nagaland Institute of Health Environment & Social Welfare (NIHESW) Kohima. The State Level, NCSC is being hosted by District Organising Committee headed by T. Kiheto Sema, Deputy Commissioner & Chairmen, DOC, NCSC, Zunheboto.
The programme is catalysed and supported by Rastriya Vigyan Evam Prodyogiki Sanchar Parishad Department of Science & Technology, Government of India and Department of Science & Technology, Government of Nagaland.
