Kohima, December 19 (MExN): The 38th annual sports meet of the Chozubami Youth Association began at Chozuba under Phek district on December 19. Sanuzo Nienu, Joint Director, Department of Agriculture graced the occasion as the special guest.
Earlier Nienu inagurated the new basketball court at the centenary ground in Chozuba. In his speech, he encouraged the youths to be disciplined and work hard in whatsoever fields they choose in order to excel.
Sevonyi Keyho, president CYA called upon the youth to participate in true sportsmanship during the annual meet and wished the four colonies the best of luck.
Earlier greeting was shared by Sepoyi Ringa , President, Razuve Hoho. Oath taking was given by games and sports secretary Batu Ringa .
The ongoing sports meet will conclude on December 22.
