The newly constructed Christ Church at Lower Chandmari, Kohima, was formally dedicated on Sunday in a solemn service led by Pastor Puchosel Kiso and ministered by Rev. Dr. N. Paphino.
Addressing the congregation, Rev. Dr. Paphino expressed happiness over the completion of the church building within a year and one month, describing the achievement as “a miracle and blessing from God.”
He reminded the congregation that the church belongs to God and emphasized the supremacy of its spiritual foundation above earthly influences such as politics and technology.
Presenting the construction report, Dominic Zhunyü, Convener of the Building Committee, informed that the project began with Rs 7 lakhs and was completed at a cost of Rs 82 lakhs.
He expressed gratitude to all contributors for their generosity. Pastor Joseph Mangar, Chairman of CCRCN, conveyed greetings. Dr. Viral Yore donated the land for this church. The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Deacon Moses Pfote.
