Dimapur, April 9 (MExN): The Christian Forum Dimapur (CFD) has so far has reached out to over 600 families and institutions with relief services during the current COVIDS-19 lockdown in Dimapur.


The beneficiaries include migrant workers, daily labourers, marginalized stranded, rehabilitation centres, orphanages and quarantines, as well as villages, colonies and institutions, informed a press release from CFD Chairman, Rev Moses Murry and General Secretary Rev Fr CP Anto.


Essential commodities such as rice, dal, potatoes, sugar, bread and soap were distributed during the relief drive. 
The initiatives were done in collaboration with Salesians of Don Bosco and AIDA, ACID, Bethesda Ministries, Peace Channel & NEISSR, the release said. 


Some of the location include Walford Colony, Phom colony, Neisatuo colony, Lake view colony, Signal Angami, Sachu colony, Oriental Colony, Nagarjan, Kevijah colony, Burma Camp, Youth Hostel, Blessing the feet ministry, Love care Home, Shalom, Mother Teresa Home, Bethesta Rehab, and Baselia Mission for disabilities. 


The Forum, meanwhile, extended gratitude to  individuals and institutions who have contributed to initiative  Salesians of Don Bosco and Bosco AIDA, SABS Provincial House, CMC provincial House, UFS Provincial House, Catholic Women Association Dimapur, Holy Cross Church Dimapur, ACID, Peace Channel, FCC St. Clare Kacharigoan, MSMHC St. Mary’s Padampukri, Baptist Revival Church Kuda, Dimapur Baptist Women Union, Bethesda AG, Eralibill AG, Tenemyie AG Walford, Loth AG Sewak, Lotha Full Gospel AG, Lotha AG 5th mile etc.,We helped them with Rice, Dal, Potatoes, Sugar, Bread and soap respectively.  


Meanwhile, stating that the virus is having a devastating impact on the quality of life and well being families all across the society, state, nation and the world, the CFD called for special solidarity and sympathy with whole human family especially who are badly hit by the virus.


Let us express our closeness felt towards those who are the most suffering from the virus attack, loss of dear and near ones, doctors, nurses, health workers etc, it said. 

 

Offer Services 
The CFD also informed that it is reaching out to fellow human beings who are in need of services through various services. Among others, it include, Tele-counselling Facilities for Children, Youth And Adult (Family);  Prayer Intercessions in collaboration with various churches and religious communities. 3. Fundraiser for helping the poor and needy with medicine, mask, food provision etc. 


As CFD does not have its bank account of its own, it further requested those who wish to contribute in the A/C of Peace Channel A/C 0686053000000094 IFSC SIBL0000686, Dimapur. 


The receipts, bills, vouchers and the financial statement of Income and expenditure will be shared with the contributors, CFD said.
