Let us first of all give thanks to our Almighty God “The Redeemer and the Prince of Peace” for His unceasing grace and guidance who brought each one of us this far in our daily individual task to fulfill and also greets to all the peace loving Nagas and the people/races who embraced Christianity as their Religion on this auspicious eve of 2011’ Christmas, the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ who cleanse us by his Holy blood and died for our sins.
Though Christmas is the festival of happiness, it is also the season of hope; one has to surrender before our Creator physically, mentally and spiritually by realizing why and how we were born to this world and for what purpose! To lead, to follow, to win, or to lose? To me life is precious and splendid created by His (God) image with unique purpose one has to be fulfilled.
Politically, in comparison with the above context, I appeal to all my political counter parts to, let us all recall the past and submit before the Lord and have more faith with one another in our pacts for lasting solutions with special references to the singing of the Covenant of Reconciliation in 2010 and the subsequent singing of “Naga Concordant” in August’ 2011 towards the formation of one Naga National Government, which was the significant and positive steps taken by us (three Naga Political Groups) having seen in the eyes of the Our people and also the decision taken by the Highest Level Commission (HLC) of the three groups (NSCN/GPRN, NNC/FGN and GPRN/NSCN) on November 29, 2011. I would also like to give thanks to the members of Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) for their sacrifice and tireless efforts of bringing the groups in oneness of Naga political issues to this far apart from church organizations, NGO’s and Naga intellectuals for their constant co-operations and also urge the people of the land that we are about to cross the sea of hope and the lonely dark road eager to seek new environment and the light of life on the other side if we walk straight in achieving our common goal.
Once again, I greet and wish all of you Happy Christmas, let the Holy Ghost guide and bless each one of you abundantly at this festive season of happiness. Amen.
