Kidima, December 27 (MExN): St Xavier's Catholic Church Kidima under the Diocese of Kohima celebrated Christmas 2018 at Church premises.
The Administrator of St Joseph's College, Jakhama (An Autonomous), Reverend Father Benny Varghese offered Eucharist in the Christmas vigil celebration said it was the light and shine in our life in Jesus. Christmas is to share the joy with others, Father Varghase said. Father appealed in the large gathering to live simple and humble as like Jesus God himself.
Reverend Father Thomas Muttathil, Parish Priest of Kidima in the celebration of Christmas said the Jesus was born for the world’s salvation.
Sister A. Salomi, Headmistress of St Xavier's School cum Superior of Franciscan Sisters of Saint Mary of the Angels (FSMA) who got transferred for Diphugard, Assam for new assignment in the farewell speech expressed gratitude for the blessing received from God and the community in particular.
A press release issued by P. Tepekrovi Kiso stated that observing advent, novena, confession, Holy Mass along with baptism followed by fellowship meal was the highlights of the Christmas celebration.
