On Thursday’s update of the ongoing Chümoukedima District Football League, Medziphema United FC (MUFC) secured their first win of the tournament with a resounding 4-1 triumph over Eimi Brothers FC (EBFC) at Chümoukedima local ground.
Lalgoulen of EBFC was the lone goal scorer for his side while Thanglehao of MUFC delivered two goals. This was followed by Vikholie and Khriese racking up one goal each. Eimi Brothers are yet to claim a single win in their first three matches so far, putting them in the bottom position of the league table.
Meanwhile Sovima United FC lost to Naga United FC 0-1 in the second match of the day.
