Chümoukedima Village celebrates foundation day

Dimapur, February 21 (MExN): Chümoukedima Village celebrated its foundation day at the council hall on February 21. It was stated in a press release that the programme was chaired by CVC chairman, Razouvotuo Chatsu and CVBC Assistant Pastor Pukrosül Kin invoked God's blessing. Kengulie Shüya, VEC Chairman reminisced the history of one of the oldest village of Chakhro Angami and reminded the people to foster unity and understanding in the community by inculcating sense of responsibility for the village welfare. Kelenguzo Kuotsu, Head GB, Chümoukedima Town exhorted the congregation to strive for moral values and build the community on the strength of the integrity of its people. Zakievisie Kruse, general secretary, CPO acknowledged the sacrifices and paid rich tribute to the pioneers and ancestors of Chümoukedima. He stressed on socializing and partaking beyond one's comfort to strengthen the community.  

Special award for outstanding community service were awarded to Dietholezo Shüya, Kuobeizo Medoze, Vikhwe Yhoshü and Viechübeizo Sokra while folk songs were presented by Chümoukedima Village Women folks and Zeno Kire Head GB pronounced the vote of gratitude.
