‘Church is a house of prayer for all nations; and an institution that nutures everyone’

Elümyo | December 29: While celebrating the maturity of Christianity, Elümyo Baptist Ekhümkho (EBE) dedicated its church building this morning as the village awaits the 75 years Platinum Jubilee to begin this evening.
Rev. Y. Patton, Rtd. State Chaplain, dedicated the Church as Rev Nyanchumo Ezung, Associate Pastor, WTBC led the dedicatory service.
Sharing the gospel word Isaiah 56:7, Rev. Suchumo Kikon Pastor Longsa Baptist church said church is the gateway to heaven thereby urged the congregations to respect and love the house of the lord.
Adding that house of prayer gives joy in my house of prayer, he said church is a house of prayer for all nations and the only way to solve any problem is to find God and to live with him.
“Church is an institution that nurtures everyone,” Kikon echoed, putting in more that church is the holiest of all holiness and called upon the gatherings to maintain the principal of the church, accepting challenges that multiply the faith of oneself.Kikon exhorted not to displease God to receive God’s abundant love as the Love of God will never cease for those who loves him.
Ex. Minister, Dr. T.M Lotha also delivered greetings message on the occasion while the programme witnesses special numbers from various groups, Bible reading by Lichilo, church construction report, welcome address by pastor, Elümyo Baptist Ekhumkho and benediction Wothungo, Pastor Chudi. Scores of Pastors, Reverends, officials of KBES and believers from across Lotha region are in the village to be a part of the Platinum Jubilee.
