Kohima, December 22 (MExN): Under the aegis of the Kohima Chakhesang Pastor Fellowship, in view of the upcoming combined Christmas celebration and mass celebratory feast scheduled at Nagaland Baptist Church Council Convention centre and Naga Students Federation Solidarity Park respectively, a sanitation drive was organised by the Men Department and Steward Committee of all Chakhesang churches in Kohima today.
The Celebration Publicity Committee in a press release stated that Pastors and church workers of respective churches participated in the sanitation drive.
Meanwhile, it stated that during the worship service Rev Dr Zelhuo Keyho, General Secretary, NBCC will share the word of God on the theme, ‘The word became flesh’ (John 1:14). Rev Dr Vevo Phesao, Chairman, Kohima Chakhesang Pastor Fellowship will bring greetings, Rev Vikuo Rhi, Pastor CBCK will pronounce opening prayer, Rev Zhowhuyi Nyekha, Sr Pastor, CCRC, Upper PWD will proposed benediction while Rev K Luruo, will offer blessing prayer for the cake and mass celebratory feast.
It is to be noted that this Combined Christmas celebration is observed once in five years. The Central Committee has extended invitations to all the members irrespective of denomination affiliations to be part of the celebration and be blessed.
