Chümoukedima, October 27 (MExN): Nagaland Minister Jacob Zhimomi inaugurated the Chutsolie Memorial Hall at Godwin Higher Secondary School, Chümoukedima on October 27.
Zhimomi, the Minister of PHED and Cooperation, lauded the teachers and school authorities for their “unwavering dedication and commitment” in running an educational institution in a rapidly changing landscape.
He emphasised that a student's degree should reflect their knowledge level, - something which is worryingly absent in the majority of Naga kids. “Something which is worryingly absent in the majority of Naga kids,” the Minister stated urging students to use the free information available on the Internet to hone their skills.
Established in 1989 by late Chutsolie, a pioneer of Chümoukedima, the school completes 36 years of its journey this year.
