Citizen of Phek town appeal to departments

Dimapur, April 23 (MExN): Highlighting the plights faced by the citizens of Phek Town the Chakhesang Students’ Union, Vice President has written to the authorities of BSNL, NST, Power and PHE departments.
CSU, Vice President, Zachihu Vese in a press note stated that there has been a continuous network interference provided by BTS Tower (BSNL), located at Lozaphuhu Village and Phek Town under Phek district for about 6 (Six) months. Addressing the problem to the BNSL authorities, the note said, “The subscribers were not able to avail your efficient service, due to distorted signal transmission, which creates frequent jitter and voice break, in the process of conversation at large. In addition, your service is benefitted by the surrounding villages, consisting of a good number of subscribers. On the other hand, your authority will also be at lost, as most of the customers are switching from BSNL to other GSM Service Provider.”
With regard to NST night bus services, Vese stated that previously there were two buses plying between Phek and Dimapur, but at present there is only one bus service provided by the NST Department. Therefore the NST Department is requested to continue with two buses as usual for the convenience of the public. “Continuous blackout in Phek Town has become a normal phenomenon routine with no concern authority paying attention for the welfare of the public,” the same note added. Drawing the attention on water scarcity, Vese addressed to the PHE Department that problem of water scarcity and its haphazard distribution system is another usual problem of the people of Phek town.
