The Classic Club Kohima organized a felicitation programme for K Neibou Sekhose, life member and advisor, Classic Club Kohima on been inducted as executive member to All India Football Federation (AIFF).
In his felicitation address at a function held at 2K Hotel, Officers' Hill Kohima on September 16, MLA Chotisuh Sazo and life member Classic Club said, “It is a proud moment for all the club members that one of our members is now in the national level body of football.”
Dr. Sazo was hopeful that with his (Sekhose) presence in the decision making body of AFFI, the football in India will register progress.
On behalf of the Club, he handed over citation to Sekhose, extending its hearty congratulations to the later.
"Your dedication, vision and the series of determined steps taken as a football enthusiast have placed you on a befitting pedestal. The Classic Club wishes you the best as you don this new mantle of responsibility,’ the citation scripted.
“I feel honour and privilege to receive this citation and I give glory and honour to Almighty God,” said Sekhose in his acceptance speech.
Sekhose said that God has opened the door and made a way and he was given privilege to be an Executive Committee member of All Indian Football Federation.
Earlier, Kezhakietuo Belho, Associate Pastor, Khedi Baptist Church Kohima village invoked God's blessing for the programme.
Keneisenuo Sorhie presented a special number.
The programme was chaired by Classic Club life member Mezhüo Solo while vote of thanks was proposed by Neisevituo Sorhie, former president and life member Classic Club.
