Dimapur, June 30 (MExN): The Council of Nagalim Churches (CNC) on Wednesday acknowledged all those who participated and devoted their time and energy to intercede and commune with God during the month long Chain of Prayer called by the Nagaland Joint Christian Forum (NJCF).
In a press release issued by its general Secretary, the CNC expressed gratitude to all the ministries/departments under Government of the People’s Republic of Nagalim (GPRN), all the Naga Army brigades, battalions, units and regional Churches under it, and all the denominational Churches in Nagalim, prayer groups, organizations, associations, families and individuals for their participation.
“It is a harsh reality that, we have lost some of our beloved leaders and loved ones during this second wave of cruel pandemic. But it is also a fact that, your effective and fervent prayers have saved and delivered many from the clutches of this deadly virus,” the release stated.
Further, it stated that the war against the dreadful virus was far from over and there is still a possibility for the surge of third wave. As such, it requested all concerned to vigilantly and earnestly continue in pray for protection upon the Nagas.
