Dimapur, April 25 (MExN): Central Nagaland Tribes Council (CNTC) has demanded a full detailed probe on the fuel adulteration racket exposed by RPP at Ghorapatti, Dimapur on April 21. It demanded that state government immediately arrest of all those involved and give them a befitting punishment.
In a press release CNTC stated that it cannot remain a mere mute spectator when such a blatant illegal activity is going on right under the nose of the state agencies. “This is a crime perpetrated on the whole Naga people and such a heinous act upon the Naga public which cannot be merely brushed under the carpet by the state government. No manipulation on the forensic report should be allowed,” it demanded.
It is the moral obligation of the state government to check such illicit activity and inability to check a scam of such gigantic proportion is complete letdown of trust by the people of the state and demanded a detailed inquiry report be made public at the earliest.
