Akavi N Zhimomi Naga
Some says, where there is coincidence, it's either good days are coming or with bad (worst) moments taking its shape. This few months, especially the month of July 2017 our State Nagaland has been witnessing lots of unwanted developments which can be considered as a surprise for many of us.
Nagaland being a Christian State, our religious leaders and denominations were busy preaching about Clean Elections in public places, where as coincidently RSS agents in Nagaland were busy working tirelessly day and night to built their bases in Nagaland through various political banner.
Another coincidence one can witnessed is When mother nature was affected with incessant Rains with Worst floods cases in Kaziranga where our Nagaland Legislators were camped few weeks back, With their returned to Nagaland, without delay one could witnessed worst floods Scenarios in Various Parts of Nagaland, in some places like Kushiabil areas famous Dhansiri river of Dimapur got over flooded up to 1km stretch beyond its existing flowing directions.
Coincidently public could witnessed Bridge collapsed at 4th mile, Dimapur, not forgetting another bridge got damaged at Nagarjan, Dimapur. This two Bridges are considered the lifeline of many villages and colonies but coincidently got cut off in same July Month of 2017.
Frequent Accidents occurring around are not giving any sign to stop, and Our pothole (large ones) in the middle of National Highways are becoming a worst nightmares for travellers not guaranteeing us, when and how at any Moment travellers becoming another victims Of road accidents.
What's really going on in Nagaland, I fear end days are not near, but on a clearer note, It is not that end days are near, but I believe, God is sending a strong message to the people of Nagaland to wake up and stand against injustices in our own land before it’s too late.
Past few developments in Nagaland can also be guaranteed that through mother nature, God is sending a clear "Warning " message to all our 60 Elected Legislators (irrespective of different Party), including HoD's, AHoD's, and Officers of various Govt Departments in Nagaland to be sincere and honest in their works without any excuses letting common public to suffer because of their wrong doings, in the process of holding their Chairs.
Nagaland is surrounded with mountains, and news of frequent landslides occurring unexpectedly can be taken as a sign of warning, especially to all our 60 Elected Legislators that no amount of Security can guarantee our lives infront of Mother Nature.
Have heard from some preachers that death, accidents, sickness are not an act of God but devils work, but let’s not forget that God is also not happy by seeing the daily sufferings of countless number of Naga Public because of the ill works of Nagaland MLA's, ministers, parliamentary secretaries, Head of Departments including corrupted Officers.
Here the main focus of my write up, our respected 60 Elected Representatives of NLA should have a heart of repentance before it’s too late, because somewhere or the other, Public has started praying for God's intervention to Save Nagaland and its people from all the sufferings that are taking place.
Being a Christian, most of our believers go for fast in different Prayer Centers (Houses), and its undeniable fact that when we have not repented for our ill works, Prophetic people gives a prophesy to us, warning us that if we don’t repent soon death, accidents, or sickness are approaching in our lives.
These same things are also applicable to all our Leaders who are making the common people suffer because of their ill works.
And in this genuine cases, we don't need a prophesy from prophetic people to prophesize on our Elected Legislators of the dangers coming ahead in their lives because of their selfish works.
Some may counter this write ups that we (public) has sold our Rights during elections, where all the Elected Candidates had spend crores of rupees, with some upto 100 crores or more, but that doesn't mean they have to take away public money of upto 500 crores or 4 digits in this 5 years term. Yes its agreeable that they had invested, and return in any business is expected but not upto the tune which is excess.
Let’s not make excuses with the tag "Vote bikai shei, chup chaap bohiebhi" (vote was sold, so just shut up), arooo appni laga baba, amma, kukai, didi, khandan para - aapni khan lagaa vote bikhai shei, chup chaap bohiebhi (Your dad, mom, brother, sister, relative sold all your votes, so just shut up) .
To this I wanted to reply to my fellow friends, yes they might have sold their votes but not all the persons in Nagaland has sold their votes, so why should let all suffer because of few had sold their votes.
Atleast we need good roads, good electricity, Good medical facilities and infrastructures in Government Hospitals, proper drainage facilities to avoid floods in various colonies, and lists goes on.
Ponder on this:
1) Why let our Govt teachers like SSA, RMSA, Hindi teachers stay in hunger without getting their salaries for 6-10 months delay.
2)Why let the long distance travellers including Senior Citizens face back pains ,body pains spending thousands of Rupees every month for their medical checkups, for taking worst journey frequently in those Pathetic roads, not forgetting Our pregnant women experiencing untold hardships .
3) Why is our Young Youths becoming victims of Road accidents because of bad roads, this Youths were once by their Church Pastor, Schools Teachers, Loved ones considered the Pillars of our Naga Society,
But it’s a sad that they are no more.
We are pained at heart grieving at those lost souls.
Since time immemorial, Naga people were not considered as beggars as we were hard working where people were not left of hunger, but in today’s scenarios our people especially the Youths are left with hunger because there is no sufficient job opportunity to accommodate all, with less effort from Govt part to chalk out ways to satisfy our Hungered Society.
A day is not far where many problems will arise witnessing State Disorders. Quick measures should be taken on board with proper planning and strategies.
Scams after scams are coming up, opening up the eyebrows of public, Sowing the seeds of anger and frustrations in the hearts of Public towards our elected Legislators including those corrupted unholy Officers of Various Govt Departments of Nagaland, and this should serve and sent a strong warning message to our Legislators and corrupted Officers to open their minds realizing their mistakes, making space for themselves to repent soon, before the Public makes a thundering voices where no human inventions can put a hold on it, things has to change.
Endless to write but will put a hold, before I conclude my write up would like to request to the concern authority and all the 60 Legislators (Not mentioning the Govt - because We are not sure who holds the Govt), Sir While you all are busy fighting for Political supremacy and the NPF ownership, on behalf of your affected public would like to once again request you all, Sir, to work out means to look into the present sufferings of the common public especially in a District like Dimapur which is considered as the gateway and life center of all the other remaining Districts of Nagaland .
While you all are busy in Kohima our Public out here are facing untold miseries because of all your past mistakes.
A few public demands to your attention like:
1) Repairing of all the Pothole Roads in the National Highways from Nagaland Gate (Dimapur) till upto Medziphema Highway Areas (Dimapur), where this places are the nerves centres of frequent Road accidents due to potholes, not forgetting engines of our vehicles getting damaged.
2) To immediately start constructing a Hanging bridge where light vehicles can cross at 4 affected locations:
*4th mile river Bridge collapsed Area, Dimapur.
*Nagarjan Bridge damaged Area, Dimapur. *Immediate Repairment of Seithiekhama Hanging Bridge connecting 6th Mile Dimapur as it got damaged recently due to floods days back.
*Immediate reconstruction of Henivi Hanging Bridge located at Henivi Village, Dimapur which it connects Padamphukri village via Toluvi Village where Home Guard Training Headquarter is Stationed, this bridge built by village authority got washed away by days flood on 19 July 2017, around 4 pm , totally cutting off the lifelines of over 25 rural villages.
*immediate completion of Bridge at supermarket that connects National Highway 29 through Purana Bazaar as this is the need of hour, sensing the weak bridge of Dhansiri Bridge, Dimapur.
*Immediate repair of pillars of flyovers nearby Dimapur Railway Station and Burma Camp Flyovers as its not strong enough for heavy vehicles to ply on.
*Immediate repair of bridge at Patkai, Dimapur as cracks are visible.
With thousands of vehicles both heavy and light vehicles crossing it, chances are high for collapsing.
As a common man, In a State like Nagaland, people like us won't get an opportunity to have an appointment with our Respected Ministers and MLA's to share our thoughts and sufferings, so the best way a common man like me can do is by using social networking sites and print medias to pass on the sufferings of common public to the Concerned Government and Authority.
