Dimapur, July 6 (MExN): The Vice Chancellor of Nagaland University is asked to terminate the contract with online examination application firm Mindlogicx Infratel Limited and revert to the ‘old examination system.’ “Kohima College Teachers’ Association” (KCTA) issued a letter addressed to the vice chancellor of the university today requesting the said matter.
“…Public apology alone without termination of the MOU does not serve the purpose, for a mistake cannot be condoned by another wrong. The lives of our youth who are dear to us cannot be destroyed by blatant defaults in the execution of the assigned work,” the association stated.
Stating that the career of innocent students cannot be compromised for the welfare of a few individuals or company for business purposes, the organization said the “abuse” on the part of Mindlogicx Infratel Ltd. and the university authorities cannot be tolerated “because we sincerely feel that the continued system with this company will compound the errors already committed.”
The association has demanded immediate termination of the MOU with Mindlogicx Infratel Limited and “suggest reverting completely back to the old examination system in which the teaching community is the main implementing agency till Nagaland University is properly and fully equipped with a foolproof technology.”
