DImapur, JULY 18 (MExN): A “deed” stating “compromise” has been arrived at in the case related to theft on July 6, 2012 from the residence of Imtiwati, Industrial Village Razhuphe and where two students were implicated and handed over to the “UT-I CAO court” of the outfit NSCN-IM where the youngsters were later physically tortured. According to the “compromise deed” made available to the local media, “Imtiwati is sorry for implicating Mr Mhakio of St. Stephen Higher Secondary School, Class XI and Luthong Tikhir of Government High School, Lingrijan, Class VI for stealing and handing them over to the UT-I CAO court just by a mere statement of Class I student, Longkhoi Khiamniungan, who is residing in his house”.
According to the “deed” Imtiwati apologized to the victims and their families in the presence of Dimapur Kyong Student Union (DKSU), Tikhir Student Union Dimapur (TSUD), Mopungchuket Senso Telongjem Dimapur (MSTD) and Dimapur Longsa Ekhung (DLE). The “deed” which was signed by the chairman/president of the four aforementioned organizations also declared that the two students Mr Mhakio and Mr Luthong Tikhir are innocent. The “deed” was “mutually agreed by all the parties and the case is amicably compromised with forgive and forget”, it stated.
