Longleng, September 26 (MExN): A district level consultative meeting on Panel for Review of Communitisation of Public Institution & Service Act 2002 was held at DC’s Conference Hall Longleng on September 24.
The chairperson of the panel Banuo Z Jamir stated that the main objective is to find out the impact has the communitisation in the developmental processes in the village level, due to absence of any reviews by the State Government fails in more than 20 years.
She has asked all line departments to select performing and non performing villages from all the sectors so they could conduct survey in the respective areas, a DIPR report informed.
Jamir also handed over the questionnaire framed for all the line departments for conduct of survey and urged them to “re-examine and give their own views and honest opinions” and submit the questionnaire on or before October 14, it said.
The chairperson was accompanied by Member Secretary of the panel John Lohe and other officials.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Longleng M. Shayung Phom chaired the meeting and officers from district administration, schools education, health & family welfare, power, social welfare and rural development attended the meeting, the release added.
