The 5 Tribes Committee on Review of Reservation Policy (CoRRP) will have a sitting with the Nagaland State Government in Kohima on August 4. The meeting is scheduled for 11AM at the Chief Secretary's Conference Hall, Civil Secretariat. According to the CoRRP, the meeting was called by the State Government.
The CoRRP, representing five Naga tribes—Ao, Sema, Lotha, Angami, and Rengma—was formed in August 2023 to push for a review of what it alleged to be an “unfair job reservation policy in the government sector” that placed them at a disadvantage. In 2025, the CoRRP has upped the ante with different forms of democratic agitations over the issue.
