Dimapur, May 19 (MExN): In response to the call by Nagaland Joint Christian Forum (NJCF) for state wide prayer on May 22, the Council of Nagalim Churches (CNC) has notified all the brigades, battalions, units and region churches under CNC to comply with the call.
CNC in a press release issued by General Secretary, Ikato Chishi Swu appealed to “all the denominational churches, prayer groups, prayer warriors and responsible Christians in Nagalim and Nagas living abroad to do the same by way of holding prayer walk in your localities and family prayer time.”
It also supported the appeal to prepare and conduct ‘chain of prayer’ in the month of June.
“As we are aware, the present pandemic does not respect any person irrespective of social, political, and economic strata,” it said and added, “At a time such as this, our only hope and refuge is God Almighty, and His protection can be assured only through our earnest prayers and submission to His will.”
