TUENSANG, JULY 31 (MExN): Cousins United was declared the champion of the 9th Open Naknyulüm Volleyball Tournament, Chaolu Sector Chaba School organized by The Gigglers after defeating Young Sparky on July 30 at Chaolu Sector Volley Court in Tuensang.
Chiba of Cousins United was awarded the best spiker; Moa of Cousins United was awarded best setter; and Zeko of Young Sparky was awarded the player of the tournament.
The final was graced by Er Mangyang Chang, Lecturer, Government Polytechnic, Sedem, Tuensang as the guest of honor.
The closing ceremony was chaired by C Esther Lemla while the invocation prayer was spoken by Elang, Deaconess, Tuensang Town Baptist Lashong.
The welcome address and short speech were delivered by Pangom, Advisor, The Gigglers, and Changsomba, President, Chaolu Sector Chaba School respectively.
A duet was presented by Ajong and Elem after which the guest of honor gave a speech and prizes were distributed.
The vote of thanks was delivered by YS Lemba, Vice President, The Gogglers followed by mass benediction prayer.
