COVID-19: Nagaland reports 63 cases, 2 more deaths

Dimapur, August 27 (MExN): The state Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP) on Friday reported 63 fresh COVID-19 cases, taking the cumulative tally of infections in Nagaland to 29,841.

As many as 78 people were discharged from hospitals post-recovery on August 27. The total number of positive patients recovered and discharged from hospitals in the state till date stands at 27,535. 

Meanwhile, two patients from Dimapur succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, taking the COVID death toll in Nagaland to 600.

Out of the new cases, Dimapur reported the highest number of cases with 24, Kohima (14), Mokokchung (10), Longleng (5), Phek and Zunheboto (3 each), Kiphire (2), and 1 case each from Mon and Peren.
