Kohima, November 6 (MExN): The Chakhesang Public Organization (CPO) 31st general session is scheduled to be held at Chizami Village from November 18 to 19, 2011 under the theme, “Year of Vision” with Husazu Epao, Principal, Patkai Christian College, as the guest speaker.
According to press note issued by general secretary Kekhwengulo Leah, the two days long session highlights includes, Exhortation from Kuzholuzo Nienu, Minister for Health & Family Welfare, greetings from Deo Nukhu, Advisor, NRE, Science & Technology and Art & Culture.
President Sovenyi would deliver his presidential address while annual reports will be given by general secretary and finance secretary respectively. CPO Vice president Neilo Khape would chair the general session, Vekutalu Curhah and Mesulumi Village would present folk tune while Treasurer, Khupo Kezo will propose vote of thanks. Resolution adoption and declaration thereof will also feature during the program.. The 31st general session which is being hosted by Chizami Village will provide fooding on payment at local rate. All VCCs, GBs, VDB Secretaries, youth organizations, students’ union, and women society are compulsorily to send at least representatives to the session. A sum of Re.1/- per citizens of the Chakhesangs are directed to be submitted to the control room by the respective VCCs. Public leaders, church leaders, well wishers are invited to the session.
