Dimapur, December 8 (MExN): The Chakhesang Public Organisation (CPO) has informed that the two lane major road projects - Chakhabama- Zunheboto via Chozuba and Pfutsero – Phek via Sakraba are in full swing and the denizens of the district are pleased to see the progress of the work. However, it has stated that “certain elements” have the tendency to harass the contractors with “demands which hampers the speedy progress” of the work.
“…it is the desire of CPO that nobody should try to make money out of these two projects i.e. including the contractors, because anybody working with such attitudes will not bring any real development,” stated the president of CPO Sovenyi in a press note.
The note also mentioned that the projects are vital and basic development for the people of the district. Therefore, this is the time and an opportunity for the people of Phek district to render whatever cooperation is required to the contractors for the proper execution of the work so as to provide quality workmanship. The CPO therefore appeals to each and every citizen to see that the progress of the work is not hampered in any manner.
