Kohima, May 17 (DIPR): Three days crash course on live sound management organised by the Music Task Force (YRS) in collaboration with Crescendo, Dimapur got underway on May 17 at the State Academy Hall, Kohima.
Addressing the gathering prior to the commencement of the training session, Project Director MTF (YRS), Gugs Chishi was all praised for the huge turn out of trainees. He said that the attitude is different when one volunteers rather than forced to attend training which make more sense. Viewing the imperative of the technical know how at this juncture in order to manned the equipments in a proper protocol, he added that this kind of basic knowledge course would help in making the best use of the available system we have in our own respective places and avoid messed up performances and disruption in events.
Resource person for the training is Aka Jamir, School of Audio Engineering (Mumbai), Consultant Engineer (Crescendo). The crash course will culminate on May 19.
