Kohima, March 9 (MExN): The 78 Battalion of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has provided solar lamp to the villagers of Dzudza under Kohima district through Civic Action Programme (CAP) on March 8 last. It was made possible under the guidance of Randeep Datta, PMG, IGP M&N Sector and Syamchand De, DIGP (Ops) CRPF, Kohima.

Syamchand De informed that CRPF is always hand in hand with the public and always ready to provide any assistance apart from assigned duties.

The 78 battalion since its induction in Nagaland have been organizing CAP and being mingled with the civilian public to  share their grievances and  to  provide the basic amenities, a release received here stated.

Bijender Kumar 2 I/C, Commandant 78 Battalion (AOD) thanked the villagers of Dzudza and its neighbouring villages for their cooperation and cordial relationship.

The  Battalion  under the leadership  and  command of Surender Singh Commandant 78 Battalion is  emerged to be  unique in  its  own,  performing  the assigned duties with full  devotion and  dedication maintaining cordial relationship  with village people extending all possible help which is being  appreciated by the  locals,  time and again, the release added.
