CSC VLE Society push for service integration, pass key resolutions

Dimapur, April 19 (MExN): The Common Service Centre (CSC) District Village Level Entrepreneur (VLE) Society of Dimapur, Chümoukedima and Niuland held its annual meeting on April 18 at the State Head Office in Dimapur, deliberating on service integration, operational issues and organisational matters.

The meeting was attended by VLEs from the three districts along with society office bearers. CSC State Head Lanusosang Jamir and District Manager Limameren Imsong were also present.

Discussions centred on strengthening CSC service delivery and engaging with state authorities for integration of VLE IDs with key public services such as birth certificate registration, Nagaland One services and Aadhaar-related services. Participants highlighted the role of CSC operators in extending digital services to grassroots populations.

Addressing the gathering, Jamir urged VLEs to work collectively to improve efficiency and ensure quality service delivery to citizens.

The meeting also adopted a resolution mandating the display of CSC branding at all centres. The Society has been tasked with ensuring implementation, with VLEs given a two-month deadline to comply. Non-compliance may lead to deactivation of centre codes by the head office, officials said, adding that the Society will assist operators in meeting the requirement.

Organisational matters were also taken up, including the election of new VLE Relation Officers. Martin Kent was elected for Dimapur Sadar, John Bendang for Medziphema, G Chung and Raj Kumar for East Dimapur, Sanjeev for Niuland, Kishon Roy for Dhansiripar, and Yasuudin for Chümoukedima.

The house also resolved to extend the tenure of existing office bearers for the 2025–2030 term. The office bearers include Chairman Menkato V Awomi, Secretary Sosangwati, Assistant General Secretary K Tomika Chishi, Finance in-charge Veyi Veyie, Publicity and Information in-charge A Shyerhunlo Lorin, and VLE representative Pranab Roy.

The meeting concluded with members reaffirming their commitment to strengthening CSC operations and expanding service delivery across the three districts.
