CTAN cautions against conducting dept exams

Dimapur, August 25 (MExN): The Combined Technical Association of Nagaland (CTAN) on Wednesday voiced objection to the advertisement issued by the Department of Electrical Inspectorate for one LDA-cum-Computer Assistant (Directorate) and two LDA-cum-Computer Assistant (District) on August 21.

In a press release issued by its media cell, the CTAN cautioned the department against conducting any departmental exams for posts with grade pay 2800 and above.

It referred to various memorandums submitted by PSAN, ACAUT and subordinates of CTAN to the government of Nagaland and departments reminding that, all posts lying vacant or likely to be vacated in the next 12 months with grade pay 2800 and above are meant to be sent to NPSC until Nagaland State Selection Board is made functional.

The Association further mentioned that it would continue to boycott and revolt against any such departmental exams not complying with demands made earlier.

Further, the CTAN sought clarification from the Public Information Officer (PIO) of the department of Power as to why the RTI filled by the Graduate Electrical Engineers Association of Nagaland (GEEAN) on November 9, 2020 seeking information has not been replied to till date and requested the concerned to reply immediately to the GEEAN.
