CTAN urges PCCF to requisition vacant posts to NPSC, NSSB

KOHIMA, AUGUST 26 (MExN): The Combined Technical Association of Nagaland (CTAN) has appealed to the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) and Head of Forest Force, Nagaland, to requisition several vacant posts under the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) and the Nagaland Staff Selection Board (NSSB).

Citing information obtained through RTI and the Annual Administrative Report 2024–2025, CTAN said the following posts were found to be lying vacant- one Library Assistant, one Assistant Librarian, one Assistant Conservator of Forests (ACF), 18 LDA-cum-Computer Assistants, two Stenographers and four Drivers.

In its appeal, the Association urged that the requisition for the said posts be sent to NPSC and NSSB within the next 30 days. It also called for the requisition to include posts currently filled on ad-hoc or contract basis, new posts created, and vacancies that are likely to arise within the next 12 months, i.e. till August 2026.

CTAN maintained that filling these vacancies would be in the interest of aspirants in Nagaland and assured that it would follow up on the matter within the stipulated time.
