Kohima, May 8 (MExN): The College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (CVSc & AH), Jalukie, conducted its 8th College Extension Advisory Committee meeting on May 8.
According to a press release, the programme was attended by experts and officials from the Nagaland State Veterinary and allied departments, Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) representatives, farmers, and local stakeholders.
The meeting discussed extension activities, collaborative development initiatives, and future action plans for the livestock sector.
The programme was attended by distinguished experts including Dr Sunil Naik, Director of Extension Education, Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, and Dr Brij Pal Singh, Head, DTAC, ICAR Research Complex, Umiam, Meghalaya.
The discussions focused on strengthening extension services and promoting coordinated efforts among institutions and stakeholders for the development of the livestock sector in Nagaland, the release stated.
