Kohima, June 7 (MExN): The Chakhesang Mothers Association (CMA) vehemently condemned the dastardly act upon the life of Imtila Jamir, Rtd Registrar Cooperative Society by one Worshim Tangkhul and his accomplice in her residence.
“They deserve no human compassion and the law must take its own course of action to award deterrent punishment and avert any such recurrence in the near future,” a release received here said today.
The CMA expressed its dismay over the attitude of the state machineries in booking the culprits till date and it urged upon the state government to vigorously pursue the case and book the culprits and provide befitting punishment without any further delay.
The CMA also urged all concern leaders of different political organizations not to harbour such criminals “who otherwise continue to tarnish the good image of the people and its rightful cause of the people for which many have sacrificed their time, energy and life.”
This was stated in a release issued by CMA president Kethozulu Rose and general secretary Nungotsolu Kezo.
