Kohima, August 31 (MExN): The youth of D’ Block Community Kohima convened a general meeting on August 27 last for election of its office bearers for the term 2011-2014. The meeting unanimously elected Khrieletuo Belho as president and Kedilhou Yhome as general secretary to lead the team for the said term. The leaders appealed D. Block Panchayat, youth and general public to extend their support and cooperation for the upliftment of the community. In the meantime, the youth organization resolved to organize a mass social work in D’ Block on September 3. The public have been requested to join the said cleanliness drive and come with spades, sacks, daos, broom etc. It also resolved to approach Kohima Municipal Council to detail/spare the truck for lifting of the waste and the garbage on that day. The timing will be from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM, a release received here said.
