Thongsünyu | March 4 : Parliamentary Secretary for Horticulture R. Khing asserted that Democratic Alliance of Nagaland (DAN) government is people’s government and has been fulfilling whatever promises and election commitment made to the electorate during the elections.
On the other hand, Khing said some political parties and politicians made tall commitment and promises during the election time by failed to deliver/fulfill it after election. “We must try to fulfill our election commitment,” he said and lamented that some political parties and politicians forget their election commitment after the elections.
As for DAN right from 2003 till date, he said, the party has been fulfilling its election commitment and promises. “We never forget our commitment and promises,” he claimed during the inaugural programme of the newly constructed building of GPS Thongsünyu under Tseminyu sub division on March 3 last.
In keeping with our elections commitment, he said lots of development activities are going on across the state and urged upon the public to visit various parts of the state and get glimpse of the same. He cited an example where roads and buildings are being constructed in several remote place of the state.
Touching on political front, the parliamentary secretary said the DAN government is committed to bring all the different groups/factions together and want to find out political solution.
