Kohima, August 6 (MExN): The Dapfhütsumia Council Kohima village recently honoured Law & Justice secretary Thejangu-ü Kire, Rural Development Director Azenuo Pienyü, Health & Family Welfare Principal Director Dr Vibeituonuo M Sachü and Mechanical (Public Work Department) Chief Engineer Er Neingumeü Kire for their commendable works.
The council Chairperson Pele Khezhie in his speech praised them for their contributions to both the Kohima village Naga communities. He commended them for their commitment and dedication in serving the important departments of the state. He acknowledged them as a blessing to society and urged them to continue to work hard for the welfare of the community.
The council also expressed gratitude to all the leaders of their khel, who had worked tirelessly to uplift society and the Naga community. The council expressed hope that such recognition programmes would motivate the younger generation to work hard and follow their footsteps.
The programme was attended by Kohima village Head GB Medo Keretsü; Dapfhütsumia Khel Head GB Atei; DMK President Methasie-e; Dapfhütsumia Gazetted Officers Krotho (DGOK) President Kikrukoulie Kire; Dapfhütsumia Youth Organization President Keneisedelie Sachü; Dapfhütsumia Students’ Union President Mhasituo Kire; former Minister Dr Neikiesalie (Nicky) Kire; retired DGP Ziebu Kire and other dignitaries. The programme was chaired by Joint Secretary Keduonei-u Sachü while Khedi Baptist Church pastor Dr Ruokuovilie Sachü invoked God’s blessing.
Meanwhile, the council appreciated the State Government for giving them the opportunity and responsibility to fellow officers, who belong to Dapfhütsumia Khel, Kohima Village.
