DAYO support SSA teachers

Dimapur: The Dimapur Ao Youth Organisation (DAYO) has seriously taken into view the ongoing imbroglio between the NSSATA and the State Government (DoSE) whereby 2730 SSA teachers have been denied their due share of salary from the month of December and several other service conditions.

The DAYO appeal to the competent authority to immediately address the genuine demand of the NSSATA by releasing the pending salaries to its employee to avoid the academic career of the innocent students. DAYO calls upon the government to justify as to why this lackadaisical attitude to the NSSATA. DAYO affirm and declare its support to NSSATA for their right and call upon the right-thinking citizens to voice against such kind of corruptions in our society.

Meanwhile, DAYO general secretary T Chitenlemba Imsong in a press release condemned the April 25 incident whereby an Ao woman has been outraged her modesty by one Nazmul Hague at 5th Mile, Dimapur. Such kind of incident has been taking place in our society frequently and as such appeals to the law-enforcing agency to book the accused under relevant section relevant section of penal law.
