Chümoukedima, April 17 (MExN): The National Highway- 29 stretch from Chathe River Bridge/Patkai Junction to Kukidolong River Bridge will be closed for traffic daily from 4-7AM for all vehicles from April 22-May 11.
The restrictions are being imposed due to restoration work aimed at removing overhanging rocks and implementing safety measures before the monsoon season, informed an order issued by Abhinav Shivam, Deputy Commissioner, Chümoukedima .
During the road closure time, all traffic will be be diverted from 7th Mile Juntion- Pimla-Mhainamtsi Jharnapani-and vice versa, it added, advising all commuters to plan their journey accordingly to avoid the inconvenience.
