Dimapur, October 1 (MExN): Heeding to the call made by the Dimapur district administration to conduct mass social work on October 2 to commemorate Gandhi Jayanti, the Dimapur Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) on Friday informed that it would also be taking active part in the cleanliness drive.
In this regard, the DCCI issued a press release, requesting all shop and business establishments within DCCI jurisdiction to clean their respective shop premises on October 2 starting from 6:00 am.
It also urged shopkeepers and traders to lend their support and cooperation to the district administration in the collective endeavour to make Dimapur a cleaner and better city to live in. DCCI officials and volunteers will supervise and inspect all markets, shops and business houses to streamline the social work, the release stated.
