Democracy is a fallacy. It's the fallen man ruling the fallen man.
Elections and votes and power are won with corruption and money.
Anti defection laws are maneuvered pretty well. Any party elected by the people be it opposition or independent can easily join another party (especially ruling party) whom the people of that particular party didn't vote for. Where is the voice of the people? In the dustbin?
Democracy has led to gaining of popularity either by way of bigotry or money or use of Government arms to silence voices of dissent.
In today's scenario democracy is government by the people, seemingly of the people and definitely for the corporates.
Today, to open a private news channel, it costs around Rs 300 crores and much more to maintain it and its TRP. Who has the fund? Not me, not you. But those who rule (corporates and certain parties). That news channel will obviously be indebted to run the ideologies and propaganda of the source of its funds. Lo and behold! Godi media explained.
Electoral bonds has become the new messiah of party funds and the anonymous donors.
Manifestos are a fairy tale in a wonderland. People are still waiting for Rs 15 lakhs to be deposited from swizz black money.
Acts of the constitution are amended on the whims of popularity.
The addiction of power is more than alcohol and drugs. And absolutely no rehab for it.
What is really required is theocracy. There is no amendment to God's Word.
It's sad to see our state where all the years of fighting, infighting and bloodshed have all been for a piece of land and water which will never be ours after we are leveled by the great leveler DEATH. A man who truly fears God will not take bribe, will not sell or buy votes and will not siphon off the sanctions given for the development of the land. He will care for moral relationships. He will bear the fruits of the Spirit. He knows of death, he knows of his hope and he will sing " this world is not my home". He will fight for the truth be it within or outside of politics. Where are the longri aos of today who could openly criticize the corruption by the government?
Israel rejected theocracy and a Saul was created.
