Kohima, June 25(MExN): A despatch drill ceremony will be conducted at the Army Recruiting Office, Rangapahar on June 27 at 11:00 AM for the despatch drill of the selected candidates to their respective Regimental Centres for undergoing Training on their enrolment as recruits in the army. The ceremony being conducted under the aegis of Col J. Hota, the Director Recruitment, Army Recruitment Office, Rangapahar, which will conducted in the presence of Nagaland’s power minister Doshehe Y. Sema, MLA K. L. Chishi, MLA H. Sema, MLA Azheto Sema, advisor co-operation and S. I. Jamir, president PBC.
Approximately, 75 candidates, will form part of the despatch drill ceremony, which will also be attended by their parents. The ceremony is being conducted with the aim of providing an opportunity for the state government representatives to witness, and to acquaint themselves, with the procedure for the despatch of the newly enrolled recruits to the respective regimental centres, for undergoing the Recruit’s Training as also with the aim of motivating the candidates being enrolled into the army. The ceremony will also serve as a platform for interaction amongst the officials of the Army’s Recruiting Organisation, the State Govt representatives, the candidates and their parents.
