Resource persons and others during training programme on fire safety measures at Tuensang.
KOHIMA, SEPTEMBER 21 (MExN): The District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Tuensang, in collaboration with the Fire and Emergency Services, conducted a training programme on fire safety and preventive measures on September 18.
The event, coordinated by the EVS/SS Cell of DIET, was attended by teaching faculty and second-year D.El.Ed student-teachers.
Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Hayang Chang briefed participants on the types and uses of fire extinguishers, while ASI Imti Chingmak spoke on the safe handling of LPG cylinders and preventive steps to avoid accidents.
The training also featured a practical demonstration by Fire and Emergency Services personnel. The programme was chaired by Thüpuveyo, Lecturer, DIET, while Grace K. Semy, Lecturer, proposed the vote of thanks.
