Dimapur, October 8 (MExN): The Consumer Society Dimapur District has cautioned the business establishment of Dimapur to adhere and prevent any unauthorized person/groups collecting money in the name of CSDD. Kisheto Yeptho, Finance Secretary,C SDD and Pradip KR. Sethi, Press secretary, CSDD, in a press note has informed, “Anybody doing any financial transaction, in the name of CSDD without an iota of proof or truth shall be at their own risk and responsibility”. It also stated that CSDD being a non-profitable, on-political and non-commercial society is independent and free from the Government and Industry and are made up of individuals organized for social actions.
The press note further stressed that CSDD don’t recognize raising of funds by way of collection from the public but accepts voluntary contributions from any individual/group with the sole purpose of re-investing the same amount towards Consumer Welfare activities such as conducting consumer awareness seminar, distribution of consumer awareness programmes and act as intermediaries between the government policy makers and make the consumers get involved in development programme at micro level.
