DIMAPUR, MARCH 19 (MExN): A joint consultative meeting of Dimapur-based civil society organisations (CSOs) will be held on March 23 at the Office Conference Hall of the Naga Council Dimapur to deliberate on the ongoing movement for repealing or lifting the Nagaland Liquor Total Prohibition (NLTP) Act, 1989 in Dimapur.
According to a circular issued by the Naga Council Dimapur, the meeting is scheduled to begin at 11:30 AM and will focus on final discussions regarding the issue.
The circular informed that officials and councillors from various CSOs have been requested to attend the meeting without fail. These include the Naga Council Dimapur, Dimapur Urban Colony Chairmen Federation, Dimapur Naga Students’ Union, Naga Women Hoho Dimapur, GB Union Dimapur Sadar, Dimapur District GB Association, Dimapur Chamber of Commerce & Industries, Business Association of Nagas, Dimapur District Citizens’ Forum, East Dimapur Area Village Council Chairmen Forum, East Dimapur Tribal Council, and East Dimapur Youth Organisation.
