DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 28 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur in a public notice has informed all landowners and beneficiaries affected due to the 4-lane project under Dimapur district that compensation for the affected landowners for building and other items shall be paid in the conference hall of the DC, Dimapur on October 4, for the left out portions from Dimapur to Piphema from 10 am onwards.
The villages include Piphema, Tisepama, Pherima, Medziphema, Kukidolung, Jhanrnapani and New Chümoukedima.
In this regard, the chairman/head GB, members of the concerned village council have been informed to be present in person for identification of the landowners and beneficiaries during disbursal of cheques, failing which, payment would be withheld.
The DC also directed all landowners and beneficiaries to come along with identity proof, bank passbook (orignial and Xerox), passport photo (5 copies) etc. Payment to any other representatives other than the concerned person shall not be entertained, the DC stated.
