Advisor, Food & Civil Supplies, LM&CP and NSDMA, Government of Nagaland, Pukhayi Assumi on Thursday called upon the denizens of Dimapur to live peacefully and harmoniously.
He was speaking as the special guest on the second day of the Dimapur Night Carnival (DNC) at Naga Shopping Arcade, Dimapur. “We should learn how to live together in peace and harmony,” Pukhayi said.
He lauded the organizers DCCI, EDBA and BAN for organizing the event during an ideal time and providing platform for youngsters and entrepreneurs to exhibit their talents and showcase their innovative ideas.
He observed that the state was still lagging in many fields yet Nagas were gradually progressing and urged the people to remain united for a progressive society. Pukhayi said Nagas were blessed with a beautiful land and urged the people to take advantage of the natural beauty. He expressed the hope that one day entire Nagaland would be developed into a beautiful city
On the second day of the DNC, open solo competition was held and saw 22 participants taking part in the competition. Various local artists also presented songs during the programme.
