DIMAPUR, AUGUST 14 (MExN): The Dimapur District Citizens’ Forum (DDCF) held its general meeting at Hotel Saramati on August 9.
According to a press release, the meeting began with an invocation prayer by Mophish Sangma, Pastor of Garo Baptist Church, Midland, followed by a welcome address from vice-president Temsupok Jamir. The convenor of the Constitution Amendment Committee presented the committee’s report, after which the outgoing office bearers were felicitated.
The convenor of the Nomination Committee then submitted the panel’s report, leading to the induction of new office bearers for the next tenure. Words of gratitude were delivered by outgoing secretary (administration) Bikash Brahma, followed by blessings and benediction from Lalboi Singsit, Pastor of Kuki Baptist Church.
The newly inducted office bearers are president Vikato Achumi, vice-president Richard Haolai, general secretary Mar Lemtur and finance secretary Ankur Biswas Sharma.
